The VOCES: Students Build – Creativity for Change Art Expo successfully brings together creativity, leadership, and community engagement in a meaningful student-led experience. Students take active roles in organizing, promoting, and presenting the event while using art to raise awareness about important social issues.
The event creates an inclusive and welcoming environment where students could express their ideas, connect with the community, and develop real-world skills. One of the strongest outcomes is the collaboration between student teams, which helped build confidence, responsibility, and a sense of ownership.
Moving forward, the project team hopes to expand community partnerships and continue creating opportunities for students to combine creativity with social impact.
