The Police Academy Magnet at San Pedro High School Olguin Campus is a four year program that focuses on a career in law enforcement.  Students in the program participate in four years of physical training, specialized forensic classes and complete the a-g college entrance requirements.  We partner with the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles School Police Department who provide sworn officers to work with the students in the program.  Students have the opportunity and are strongly encouraged to attend the Police Orientation Preparation Program as a post-secondary option
