Students need to earn a high school diploma to attend a community college.
The CSU Eligibility Index identifies if you're eligible for admission to the CSU. It calculates your grade point average (GPA) and your ACT or SAT score.

Students at Robert Fulton College Preparatory may be eligible for a fee waiver to take both the SAT, SAT Subject Test (twice) and ACT exams without charge.

There are many ways to prepare for the SATs and ACTs:
Once you prepare for the SATs, you can use the information to take the test for ACTs. All you need to do is to take the ACT free online prep test so you can get used to the format.
Khan Academy is an excellent way to learn all the logistics of the SAT tests. It has practice tests and once you set up an account, you can organize your time to prepare and practice.
You can take a free practice test with Princeton Review.
There are books that can be purchased online or at stores to prepare for these tests, which are a wealth of information.
