MAKE SURE YOUR STUDENTS KNOW THEIR LAUSD SINGLE SIGN ONS (SSO). THIS IS THEIR STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD. THEY WILL NEED IT TO LOG IN TO EVERYTHING!
Class Dojo is the best way to reach me and to check for school updates, pictures (it's private, for our class only), and homework. Every so often, school wifi glitches and HW does not post, so it is also up to students to make sure they have recorded their HW every day. I check Dojo at the beginning and end of school. I do not use it outside of school hours. Messages sent after 3 pm may not receive a response until the following school day. For emergencies or anything needing immediate action (for example, if a student needs to know to take the bus) call the school office directly!
Parents & guardians can monitor any student site using student login info! This is the best way to keep track of work, other than looking at assignments that are sent home!
If you had a Dojo account for your student last year, you will automatically be added to our new class. If you don't have an account, I will send home info for you at the beginning of the year!)
Parents also have their own login for Class Dojo, Schoology, and Google Classroom. To be added to Google Classroom to get assignment notices, please provide Ms. Roemer with your preferred email address via Class Dojo. Otherwise, to check scores...please look directly at your student's account!
Google Classroom and Returned Papers/Tests are the most accurate and complete representation of grades...not Schoology!
