Summary: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the last book of the series. In the book, Harry is the most wanted wizard due to a prophecy saying he’s the Chosen One. Harry has to go into hiding with his friends Ron and Hermione as they set on a quest to destroy all the horcruxes of Lord Voldemort. During the book, Voldemort takes over the Ministry of Magic and returns to what he used to be: a symbol of fear and terror.
Why I picked it up: I picked up the book because before then I had finished all 6 previous books to the Harry Potter series. I decided to read the series as a whole after watching the movie and being very confused about what’s going on.
Why I finished it: I finished the book because it was very interesting. Every page kept me more and more captivated and I wanted to know what happened next. I liked learning more about Dumbledore and the horcruxes. Also, the Battle of Hogwarts was both exciting and intense. It was probably up there in my favorite moments of the book.
I’d give it to: I’d give it to one of my friends. I feel like anyone can like this book, since it’s amazing. I rate it a 5 out of 5. It’s my second favorite book to the series. I love action packed and fiction books, so this one was amazing.

Summary:
The book is about a boy known as the biggest prankster in his former town but who now lives in Yawnee Valley. Naturally he believes he will still be the biggest prankster, even at his new school. Little did he know there would be another prankster just as good as him.
The reason I picked it up:
I've seen all types of books, but i've never seen a book about pranks. So naturally I picked it up, becoming interested in what it would be like. I also saw that the book was recommended by Jeff Kinney. Based on the popular book series “A Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” I assumed the book would be good.
The reason I kept going (and then abandoned it):
An aspect that made me want to finish the book is seeing if the two characters budding heads would end up being friends. Honestly it's the only reason why I wanted to finish the book, but I ended up abandoning it because it was simply too boring for me. It was boring because it didn't have enough aspects that made me want to see more pranks, or even turn to the next page.
I would recommend this book to:
I feel that this book can be enjoyed by many different people. It's like the book just doesn't have a type, it's either you like it or you don't. But, if I had to recommend this book to anybody it would be my cousin. I know she would find this book interesting.

Summary:
The book I was reading called The One and Only Ivan was a story about a gorilla who performed at circus shows and he couldn't go in the wild for 27 years. The story was told by Ivan, the gorilla. Ivan is a special gorilla, unlike any other. Ivan is good friends with the other animals at the circus, especially Stella the elephant and Bob. Bob is a stray dog that ended up in his cage and now he and Ivan are friends. Bob loves to sleep on Ivan's tummy. Stella is a really wise, old elephant and she gets really sick and Ruby, a new elephant that just got there and learns how to be in the circus. Julia is a little girl and her dad is a janitor at the circus. Ruby becomes an important character in the book and cares about the animals. The characters come together to do extraordinary things in this hopeful story about love, friendship and animal rights.
Why I picked it up: I picked it up because one of my friends read it and they said it was really good. I also knew that it was a bestseller which made me think it was popular and other kids liked the books too. When I read the back of the book for the summary, it looks really appealing and might be a story I would enjoy because it was about friendship, animals, and adventure.
Why I finished it: I finished it because it was really interesting and a good story line and I wanted to know what happened at the ending. I really began to love the characters in the story and I found myself rooting for them. I learned so much about each animal. I learned about their hopes and wishes. I wanted to finish the book because I hoped to see each animal have a happy ending.
I'd give it to: I would give the book to my mom because she loves books about animals and friendship. The animals in the story are very cute because of their personalities and they seem to have the same type of emotions that humans have, which makes them more human and you feel compassionate toward them. My mom is a very compassionate person so I think she will fall in love with the characters like I did!

Summary: It is the start of a new school year for seven kids at Snow Hill School. The school year starts off great. Everyone loves their new teacher, Mr. Terupt. He makes the classroom fun and gives them creative projects (that aren’t just out of a book). Until one snowy winter day when one action changes everything and, everyone.
I picked this book because: I picked this book up because two of my friends suggested it to me and we all usually have the same taste in books.
I kept reading this book because: I finished this book because all the characters seemed like actual people that you would meet in real life. It was also fun to hear this story from the perspective of seven different people with very different personalities. You also get to see the characters really grow and change as people and on their perspective on life.
I would recommend this book to: My friend Riley because she really likes realistic fiction books and happy endings. I also think she would appreciate all the details and different people’s perspectives that go into this book.

Glass in their teeth, plastic in their paws. What was happening? Mel’s mom adored Grizzlies, and so did Mel. They knew that grizzlies weren’t monsters. But this was becoming a problem. Grizzlies were becoming more and more aggressive. How much time will it be before Mel comes face to face with these giant beasts. Can she survive this trip?
I picked this book because I greatly enjoy the whole I SURVIVED series. They are very detailed, mystery and action filled books that keep you reading. I love this series because you are on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book. I have read pretty much the whole series, and I have never read this one because it was somewhat new. I was really excited when I first laid eyes on it.
I kept reading this book because it kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t stop. I had to keep turning the pages, page after page. At one point, I stayed up to 11:00 reading! The author did a fantastic job of hooking the reader in. It definitely worked on me.
I would recommend this book to people who like action, and thriller books. I would recommend it to people who like history, because these books are based on key events that have happened in our past. These aren’t true stories about people, but the disasters are very true. I would recommend this book to people who like a good scare. Also, this book wasn't very long, so I would recommend it to people who don’t necessarily like to read really long books.

Summary: Most of the book is written in flashbacks of the narrator's life. The narrator and “Tyler”, the narrator’s alter ego, start off on top of a skyscraper that is about to fall. Then the narrator goes to a place that gives support for cancer patients. The narrator does not have cancer but the narrator feels that he can show his emotions and feel better there. The narrator then meets a woman named Marla Singer. They connect to each other because they both don’t have cancer and they are there for the same reasons. The narrator has an office job and he has to travel around the country so he can see how much money it would be to recall dangerous cars for his company. Tyler works as a waiter for a restaurant. They then started to make soap so they could sell it to companies for money. They made a lot of money doing this. One time when they were making soap Tyler kissed the Narrator’s hand and poured lye on it and it gave him a big scar. They started Fight club in which members fight one another. The members of fight club cannot talk about fight club. Tyler created something called project mayhem. He made this to vandalize and bomb places in the area. The narrator hasn't seen Tyler for a while and he goes to bars because he thinks he might be there. Everybody the narrator sees says that he is Tyler. He realized that everyone started to call him Tyler. He lost consciousness. He woke up at the top of the building and attempted suicide with a gun. He survived and Tyler never talked to him since. Marla would write letters and the people at project mayhem would ask him to come back to work.
I picked this book because my mother made me read it. She thought it was complex and that I would improve my reading and I did, it helped me learn how to reread certain parts that didn't make sense to me.
I kept reading this book because it was interesting and it was very new to me. It was different how it was being told as flashbacks. It was a little hard to understand what was happening at times but rereading the book always helps. I also kept reading this book because it was very engaging and overall different.
I would recommend this book to older people like adults because this book is rated R and it has some inappropriate moments. I don't think it would suit children because of this, maybe teenagers can read this book if they can handle it. I also think it is a higher level of reading and I think adults would be able to understand this book more than kids can.

Summary: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules is about a boy named Greg Heffely who gets a diary every summer and writes about what he goes through with his brothers, Rodrick and Manny, and his best friend, Rowley Jeffersonis. His brother Rodrick is trying to teach Greg how to be a tougher kid over the summer, all the while making fun of him for being wimpy.
I picked this book because what he goes through this summer is very interesting and crazy. His big brother is basically forcing him to do stuff, and my brother does the same to me.
I kept reading this book because its amazing! It is the first one in a series of many books, and it also has had movies made of it. I found the story to be relatable to some people and how they sometimes have to deal with their annoying, loud, or weird brother or sister.
I would recommend this book to many of my friends and family because they have a lot of older brothers and sisters who are pretty annoying. I really think they would enjoy the story because they could probably relate to it really well.

Another thing I liked was how whenever she read she would let her imagination go to far places.
I kept reading this book because it interested me to know what happened next and what the drawing of it would be. I like how every time I turned a page I got to laugh at Matilda plotting against her dad and her evil principal. And also how she gets to learn about herself and how she becomes smarter. Summary - In the book “New Moon” it talks about the relationship between Edward, a vampire, and Bella, a human.. The trust between a vampire and a normal human being is very strong, but it can be hard. Bella, and Edward have chemistry - not just the class, but love chemistry too. For Bella, it seems like Edward cares too much for her safety; she just wants him to treat her like a normal person, not someone to take care of all the time. When Edward throws her a birthday party with his vampire family, everything goes wrong. One small “accident”causes more drama and damage than she could have imagined .
Why I picked up the book- I have always heard my dad telling my brothers how good the book is and how much more interesting than the movie it is. When I got to middle school, I picked it out in 6th grade. and gave it up in 7th grade. Now I am in 8th grade I wanted to revisit it again.Everyone talks about the movies but not the book so I just decided to read it myself. My dad always said the book is always better than the movie, and now I get that. There are so many more details and parts that aren’t in the movie.
Why I finished the book - I haven’t finished the full book yet, but what's pushing me to finish is the movie. The movie and book are already different from what I have read. I want to know what else is different, and right now the book is so much better than the movie - more detail, more description, more dialogue. I want to know what happens next in the book.
Who would I give this book to - If I would give this book to someone it would be one of my friends Ashley or Bianca. They both seem like they would enjoy this book. I think they both finished the movie and they enjoyed it but the book is so much better with more details.
Rating - I give this book a 5 out of 5 because it’s so much better than any other book I have read. I could also see changes in the movie from the book. Everyone in my family recommended this book when I started 6th grade because I loved the movies so much, and it is worth reading!

I would rate this book a 5/5 because it really shows young readers like me that you musst take risks for the people you love. What I really liked is that Charlotte didn’t even know Wilbur when they first met and she still cared when no other animal did. Her heart is made of pure gold.
