Welcome to the beginning of the year! I am so eager to meet you all in person, but in the meantime, this is a great way to keep in contact!

About me:

My name is Ms. Zschaechner (Shek-ner)!

I teach ELA in both the Reseda Charter Middle and High School. This is my 7th year teaching!
I received my Bachelor's in English Education and Theater Performance from Cal State University, Long Beach. Along with that, I recently received my Masters of Science in Educational Technology from Cal State University, Fullerton.
For the past 10 years, I have worked with children and in the theater. During my time off, I stage-manage events and run audio/lighting for live performances. I stage-managed in Houston, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Singapore. My favorite thing to do is go to the event site a week early and explore the city, try new foods, and get a feel for a new space. Along with that, I love sewing, photography, hiking, and any animal ever. I have 2 cats, and a 5-year-old rescue pup!

Dual Citizen of Canada
I've always had a pet.
I met my best friend in 7th grade.
