Welcome to Room 20

Ms. Guerrero

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Ms. Guerrero and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher. I am looking forward to working with your child and helping him/her reach his/her full potential. I believe that your child can achieve anything in life, as long as they have the proper guide and tools to achieve their goals.

I want to reassure you that I am a very committed and passionate educator that will strive to help your child succeed. Through a positive classroom management program, proper assessments and critical learning activities, I plan not only to engage and motivate your child, but also to enhance the quality of his/her education. In return, I expect your child to zoom and log on to schoology every day, come to class prepared, and ready to learn.

As parents, you are and continue to be the primary teacher. You play an important part of your child’s education and I am looking forward to working closely with you. It is critical that your child attends school every single day. It is critical that students arrive to our zoom meetings every day and on time as attendance will be taken daily. My desire is that none of my students miss more than 7 days of school this year.

I want to take this opportunity to open up the line of parent-teacher communication, in order to maximize your child’s potential. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or by phone, email, ClassDojo, and or by setting up a parent-teacher conference. Again, welcome to the new school year and I look forward to working with you and your child this school year.
