What is Computer Science?

Computer Science is the study of computers and computational systems. Principal areas of study within Computer Science include artificial intelligence, computer systems and networks, security, database systems, human computer interaction, vision and graphics, numerical analysis, programming languages, software engineering, bioinformatics and theory of computing.(UMCSD)

What do we do in APCSP?

We learn how to create apps and games, how to communicate in various different ways. We learn what happens behind the screen when you search up a certain topic or send a message to a friend and more. But most importantly we learn the importance of collaboration.
