J. Casillas, Principal
"No matter how difficult things may seem now, every day is a new beginning and a new opportunity to create the life you want."
February is a month that invites us to reflect, celebrate, and connect.
As we honor Black History Month, we take time to recognize the profound contributions, resilience, and leadership of Black individuals—past and present—whose impact continues to shape our world. This month is an opportunity for learning, reflection, and meaningful conversations that strengthen our understanding and appreciation of history and culture.
February also reminds us of the importance of kindness, compassion, and love. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, I encourage our students and staff to lead with empathy, uplift one another, and practice care in both big and small ways. Acts of respect and inclusion help create the safe, welcoming environment our community deserves.
Thank you to our families, educators, and students for making our school a place where learning and belonging go hand in hand. Together, let us continue to honor the past, support one another in the present, and move forward with purpose.
Nava College Preparatory Academy has earned the Platinum Safety Seal Award, recognizing our ongoing commitment to safety stewardship, accident prevention and providing a safe learning and working environment. Together, we'll continue building on this foundation - ensuring Nava remains a safe place where every student can thrive.
Nava College Preparatory Academy has earned the College Board AP School Honor Roll by showing strong, equitable AP program results across three key areas: College Culture, College Credit, and College Optimization, meeting specific percentage benchmarks for student participation, performance, and advanced engagement for our graduating cohort.
