Dear Computer Science Virtual Academy,
My name is Katie Hong. I am honored to be the Principal of the Computer Science Virtual Academy. As an educator, I have had the privilege of working with diverse students, collaborating with parents and families, and being mentored by innovative leaders who have exemplified students first.
Through instruction, discussion, guided participation, reflection, and project-based learning (PBL) students will experience a wider view of their place in the world of computer science. PBL will be key to helping students apply the skills they learn to real-world applications.
As your principal, my objective is to ensure your student has every opportunity to be successful. Following the mission of the VIrtual Academy division, I look to personalizing learning for every student to prepare students to be successful learners and leaders empowered to compete globally in the computer science industry.
I look forward to working with each of you in helping our students become our future leaders.
