AP Cybersecurity is a college-level course that introduces students to how cybersecurity professionals protect people, networks, devices, applications, and data from cyber threats. Students learn to think like both attackers and defenders as they investigate real-world scenarios, analyze digital evidence, explore network and device security, work with Linux, and practice cybersecurity skills in safe environments such as the CYBER.ORG Cyber Range.

The course emphasizes hands-on problem solving, collaboration, ethical decision-making, and evidence-based reasoning. Students will learn how to analyze risk, recommend security protections, and detect possible attacks while preparing for the AP Cybersecurity Exam and exploring pathways into cybersecurity careers.
