Mrs. Cruz

I received my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies (math concentration) and my credentials from CSUN. In 2003, I began my teaching career at Dearborn St. El. and I am have been part of the Vintage family since 2010. In addition to teaching, I have been the Testing Coordinator, HEP Coordinator, Title 1 Coordinator, SDAIE Trainer, and ELD Practicum Trainer. I have been on a variety of school committees including School Site Counsel and Local School Leadership.

I am happily married to Jose Cruz who owns and operates a small concrete cutting business. I have three beautiful children: Christian, Matthew, and Brenna who are all adults now. Christian is married with a daughter. We enjoy traveling, the beach, and sports: Angels baseball , Lakers basketball , and Raider football. I listen to all types of music and like going to the theatre. The following are a few of my favorite things:

Flowers: sunflower

Color: pastels (peach, lavender, pink)

Drink: Starbuck's Passion Fruit ice tea, Mango green tea, decaf coffee, Jamba juice smoothies (passion mango or mixed berries)

​Snack: chocolate, watermelon, all berries

Restaurant: Maggianos, Rattlers, Chipotle, and The Habit

Shopping: Costco and Target

Free time: beach, golfing, and reading
