Study Art, Music, Literature, Science, Social Science, Economics and how each subject relates to the Roaring Twenties.
The art curriculum will offer an introduction to the art of the Jazz Age: Origins of American Modernism; Jazz Age City Life; Global Connections; and Social Conflicts.
The music section will focus on the music of the Jazz Age: the increasing reach of Jazz and Blues; Jazz on stage, on the air, and on-screen; and Jazz in the concert hall.
In the literature portion of Decathlon, there are several short selections and one long piece of literature. This year, the long work is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
This year's science will be an Introduction to Electricity and Magnetism.
This year's section of social science will look at the Roaring Twenties: Post-war America; Prosperity and Technological Advancement; Social and Cultural Upheaval; Economic Crisis and the End of the Roaring Twenties.
Economics will cover fundamentals, microeconomics, macroeconomics and the U.S. economy in the 1920s.
The math for this year will be algebra and trigonometry.
