Please be advised that the PSW only provides school-based counseling services that are often on a short-term basis. It is not the same as therapy services. If a student needs ongoing and intensive support, the PSW will support the family in getting the student connected to outside agency services. A consent form must be signed by a legal guardian for the student to receive most services from the PSW.
