Community Schools are public schools that partner with families and community organizations to provide well-rounded educational opportunities and supports for students' school success.
At 4th Street Primary center we are actively look for collaboration with all Educational Partners. By creating a strong bond between the School and the surrounding community, we can better serve our families by providing resources such as a monthly food bank and relevant workshops to build the capacity of our parents and staff.
It is through Collaboration that our school and students thrive! By providing an immersive collaborative process among all Educational Partners, we can expect to see students with a more well rounded school experiences by collectively making decisions with our community in mind.
Enrichment is a great way to expand instructional time for our students. As educators, we know that not all learning happens in a classroom during the school day. We are surrounded by multiple avenues of learning in both academic and non-academic ways. We at 4th Street see the value of providing these Enrichment opportunities for our students who hope to learn anything from coding to music!
It takes a dedicated team to help support our community. Our team members have many assets that provide the support and care needed to help implement the Community School Initiative. In partnership with the Teachers and Administrators, all efforts are done with the single focus of providing a nurturing environment for our students at 4th Street Primary Center.Â
