Laurelwood PTA invites you to join us to make a difference in the education and quality of life for all children. As part of the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States, your membership also pays you back with valuable discounts and benefits. Laurelwood PTA Board Meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday of each month, at 7:15pm, in the library of the Laurelwood campus. You are welcome to join these meeting, hear and participate in the discussion; however only Board Members are able to vote. You are encouraged to join the quarterly General Association Meetings, hear and participate in the discussion, and volunteer to help as needed. All Laurelwood PTA members are able to share suggestions and recommendations at any time HERE.

We accomplished so much last year due to our families’ involvement in our school fundraisers. We have an extremely generous and giving community. We want to continue to support field trips and assemblies, supplement books, support art programs, purchase classroom supplies and upgrade our technology tools. Your dollars make a difference!

The PTA also supports many community building activities throughout the year. The PTA starts off the year welcoming back our teachers and staff with a special luncheon. This is followed by our community building events such as the Ice Cream Social and Community coffees. We had terrific turnouts at the fun and educational events such as STEAM Night and Family Reading Night. And we conclude the year with the Multicultural Festival and by offering a gorgeous yearbook for purchase. This and so much more would not be possible without your continued support. All of these programs and events enrich our community, our school and our children’s lives.

Laurelwood PTA invites you to volunteer in the many events and activities that enrich the learning environment for Laurelwood students. Giving your time, energy and talents will help the school and offer you an opportunity to be an active participant in your child's education. Your involvement is so important to the success of our school. Your help, even if it's just a few hours, goes a long way to making sure our school is a great place for our students and families.
