Meet Your Counselor

Hello,

     My name is Jonathan Carmack, I am your school guidance counselor at Johnson Elementary and this is year 6 as School Counselor at Johnson Elementary . I received my bachelors in elementary education and religion and my masters in School Counseling from the University of the Cumberland's.  Before beginning my counseling profession, I was a teacher in the classroom for 5 years and spent the last three years teaching Reading in 3rd grade at Hunter Hills Elementary.  While I will be your School Guidance Counselor, I am also the Pastor at First Christian Church in London, husband to my wonderful wife VeLora and father to my son Declan James Carmack. In my spare time, I like to read, watch and play sports, and watch Super Hero Movies because they are the best.
