What is Read&Write?
Read&Write has features to support a diverse range of learners in class and at home. Working seamlessly with virtually any kind of educational content - such as websites, PDFs and Google Docs - Read&Write helps to ensure that every student can access content where and when they need it. Helping to build their confidence, understanding and engagement in learning.
Read&Write can be used to support users with reading, writing, foreign languages, revision and special educational needs.
Who can use Read&Write?
Every member of the Leigh Academies Trust community can use Read&Write using their school email account. It is installed as a Chrome Extension in Google Chrome and works wonderfully with the Google Workspace suite of tools. Click here or the button further down to install the extension.

Some key features of Read&Write
Having text read aloud helps with proofreading and allows students to notice the pacing of words, sentences and paragraphs.
Predictive text boosts writing efficiency and helps build student confidence.
Convert class content into audio files to listen and learn on the go.
Highlight key pieces of text, build vocabulary lists and organise content by collecting highlights.
