Our Wonderful Inquiry Work

Steve Irwin

This week, we have been looking at the UK as an island and comparing it to the island of Jamaica. The children have been able to find many similarities and differences between the UK and Jamaica and created venn diagrams to show this.

We have also been looking at the book 'The Proudest Blue' and have written our own poems about the colour blue.

Lewis Hamilton

This term we have been reading ‘Agent Asha: Mission Shark Bytes’ which has quickly become our favourite book! The book is all about Asha who is a child spy that needs to save the world from an internet blackout. We have spent this week developing our own gadget for the Children's Spy Agency, that could help spies complete their missions successfully. Once we designed our own gadget, we began writing all about the different features and why they would be beneficial to spies like Asha.

Book Sale

Thank you to everyone that supported our book sale, it was great to see that so many books were going to new homes to be enjoyed by the children. Following from the Book sale last Friday, Monday and Tuesday a fantastic amount of £170.50 was raised! We will now use this to put towards new books in our lower year group classes.
