Year 5 Bastille Day

This week we have been enjoying learning about Bastille Day. The children explored the meaning of Bastille Day and how it came to be, they have even thought about why it is still so important today. We enjoyed going outside and playing Boules and creating our own Google Slides to share our understanding of this significant day.

Farewell and Good Luck Year 6!

We just wanted to say good luck to our year 6 pupils as they move on to their secondary schools for September. We held a very emotional leavers assembly and the children shared their best memories with everyone and a lovely song.

We are really proud of our year 6 pupils and all of their achievements. We are sure that they will go on to do really well and continue to shine.

Haven Heroes Project

As part of the Haven Heroes Project and looking after our environment, both Year 2 classes were invited to Haven Holiday Park to spend some time in the arcade and the park. The children were given FREE credits in the arcade so had a great time choosing different games to play. We wanted to say a very big thank you to Haven for hosting this treat for us. The children had a fantastic time!

PEPA Tots Graduation

To celebrate some of our children in PEPA Tots moving onto their reception class for September, we held a graduation ceremony to commemorate this. The nursery children looked adorable in their graduation robes and were presented with a certificate and some gifts from the school. The children sang a fantastic song and it was a lovely event. Good luck to all of those moving to reception class and who are going to other schools for September.

Year 6 Production

Our year 6 children put on a great performance of "Let the games begin..." on at Haven Holiday Park for all the parents to enjoy. It was a fabulous show, they were really confident and we are very proud of them. Thank you Haven for letting us use their staging and hosting us there.

Mrs Bush

We are so happy to announce Mrs Bush has had a baby boy! We are sending our love and best wishes! She is sad that she has been unable to say goodbye to the children but she did not foresee that she would have to leave as yet and was planning to stay until Friday. I am sure you will join us in wishing her the very best and if any of you had planned to give her any cards or gifts, we would kindly take these and pass them onto her for you.
