PE Notice

Just a reminder that children should not be wearing earrings for PE lessons. If they are wearing them and unable to take them out themselves then they will be unable to participate in PE. You are able to send the children with their ears in tape to cover the jewellery or give written permission for the  office to administer tape. Children should not be missing their PE lessons so please do be mindful of this.

Thank you for your support.

KS1 STEM Club

We had a great time planning, building and trialing our STEM projects. Each week we had different team leaders who advised and directed their teams.

We watched videos at the start of our projects to give us some ideas, then got to work. Over the weeks we made boats, towers, wind buggies and catapults. Testing was really exciting, we learnt so much, showed super teamwork and most of all had lots of fun.

Information

Medway Small Steps

Medway Small Steps/SEN Connect will be running a Sensory Processing Workshop for parents/carers on Tuesday 6th June (10am-12pm) at The Academy of Woodlands

In this interactive workshop we will look at how sensory differences can impact people on the autistic spectrum. We will also look at possible support strategies and will bring along with us some examples of things you might be able to use at home to support your children.  There will also be an opportunity to view the Sensory Room at the Academy.

You will have the chance to ask questions and talk about your child’s unique sensory profile. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other parents on a similar journey; teas and coffees will be provided on the day.

Please note due to limited space we can only allow one person per family to attend
