Our Wonderful Inquiry Work
Alan Turing Class
This week we have been revising our number knowledge in maths in preparation for SATs. In our reading, we have been looking at vocabulary linked to our new inquiry and in science we started to explore the idea of inheritance by looking at Mr Men and designing their possible offspring based on their characteristics.
Police talk for Years 5 & 6
A local Kent police officer, who works with the Trust secondaries visited us to educate our pupils in matters that may well impact them now or in the future. He lead a talk around different areas of crime that could impact young people in Medway. It was helpful for the children to see him before they transition to secondary school and no doubt they will receive more in depth talks from him when they move to their secondary schools in the future.
