Welcome to LAHC11! This dedicated site is designed specifically for Year 11 students and their parents. Here, you'll find essential information to keep you updated, valuable tools to assist with revision, and the support needed to navigate the final year of GCSEs.

We understand that the expectations of GCSE examinations, the anxiety over results, and the pressure of making important decisions about future aspirations can create stressful times. However, the end of the year also brings the opportunity for students to experience immense pride and satisfaction in their well-deserved academic achievements. As students strive for excellence, they will demonstrate their character through hard work and dedication qualities that are crucial for reaching their full potential in GCSE examinations.

At Leigh Academy Hugh Christie, we have fostered a culture where classwork, homework, and controlled assessments are considered just as important as the examinations themselves. Additionally, parents will receive regular updates through our LAHC11 newsletter, which will be available on this site for future reference. I am excited about the prospect of seeing all students proudly celebrating their results in August, and I am confident that together, we can achieve this goal.
