Oaks Primary Academy Newsletter
Issue 3: 20/12/2022
Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to you following a hectic term which has included snow, online learning, performances, discos, Christingle and Christmas Dinner!
All of this has been intertwined with fantastic learning and Christmas preparations.
I would like to personally thank all parents that supported home learning and attended our productions, this means a great deal to the children and our school community. The children thrived on the stage and performed exceptionally. I strongly believe that the performing arts provide children with an invaluable platform to develop speaking, listening, confidence and collaboration and hope to continue to provide all children such opportunities as regularly as possible...performing isn't just for Christmas!
I would also like to reiterate that our social media platforms are an outlet for updates, news and celebration. It is disheartening for staff to read negative comments on this platform and I will personally meet with individuals who deem it acceptable to use the platform to spread negativity. Conversely I would like to thank parents who see it as their duty to support the Oaks community at every given opportunity, it means a great deal to both myself and my staff who work tirelessly to provide the best possible care and education. A great deal of their work happens in their own time behind the scenes. Kind messages certainly buoy us. Your kind support means the world, thank you.
Please enjoy our newsletter and what all the children have been working on!
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and look forward to welcoming you all back to Oaks on Thursday 5th January 2023!
