Dear Parents and Carers, 

I enjoyed getting more opportunities to speak to you all during our final week of school. It is clear that you have all taken great joy in getting to watch the children sing, perform and enjoy the festive spirit. They have all made us so proud and should certainly give themselves a pat on the back. It takes confidence and bravery to perform in front of an audience and I think they all did a fantastic job.

Moving into the Christmas period, we unfortunately see some staff moving on from Oaks. Miss Behan is moving on from our Nursery to move away and Mrs Smith is also moving on from our Reception class to pursue a new career. Both will be greatly missed and we wish them all the best of luck in their new jobs. 

We are delighted to announce that earlier this term Mrs Baldwin gave birth to a beautiful little girl just in time for Christmas. We wish her and her family an amazing Christmas and can't wait to see her back at Oaks in the near future!

From me personally (if I didn't see you at the end of the day on Friday) have a lovely Christmas break and thank you for the rapturous support you gave to the children to prepare for their performances, I know how much that means to them and to us as a school. 

I hope you all get to spend time with loved ones over the next few weeks with some well deserved time away from the office - wherever that may be! I look forward to seeing you all back at Oaks on January 3rd when the new term starts.

Reporting Absence 

It is your responsibility to report your chlid absent from school on the morning of their absence, by phoning the office, emailing the office or speaking to a member of the leadership team on the playground.
