Seniors
Congratulations to our seniors as you enter into your final year of high school. Throughout the year we will be doing our best to assist you in your future endeavors by providing information on potential scholarships that you can apply for. Remember that scholarships are monies that you do not have to pay back to assist you with your post secondary expenses. You have put in the work with your grades, community service, leadership and extra-curricular activities. The only way turn you down is if they don't have your application.
We are happy that Mrs. Soto has returned, please work with her to get all of your college apps and scholarships in. Remember you will need letters of reference for most all scholarships and will need to give adequate time to prepare a quality letter to those you request from. When requesting a letter of reference make sure you are able to provide your resume to those you request a letter from. California Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation
Application deadline is February 1, 2022
The California Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation was organized to give aid to students with a desire to pursue a career in the agricultural industry. Scholarships are awarded annually based upon academic achievement, career goals, extracurricular activities, determination, leadership skills, and a commitment to study agriculture.

E.M Tharp Scholarship
World Ag Expo® and E.M. Tharp Inc. are teaming up again to provide the “We Believe in Growing” scholarship, created to further support agriculture education. High school seniors from Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings, and Kern counties are encouraged to apply.
Two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who attend a four-year university to major in an agricultural field. The scholarships will be disbursed over four years at $2,500 per year, per student

The California Association of Future Farmers of America Scholarship program is designed to recognize outstanding California FFA members and award students who plan to major in agriculture in the state of California. The California FFA Association with the help of generous sponsors will award over $96,000 in scholarships this year.

Fall 2021 Fresno State Scholarships
Please encourage your students who have applied to Fresno State for Fall 21 to apply for our scholarships. The Jordan College awards about $500,000 each year to agriculture students and the university awards a total of $4.3 million annually!
In order to be considered for a Fresno State scholarship, students must be a continuing student or a new student who has applied for admission for the 2021/2022 academic year. Before your student attempts to apply for Fresno State scholarships, please make sure they have received a Fresno State Student I.D. number and have activated their MyFresnoState account with a valid email address. All scholarship applicants must use their MyFresnoState log-in user name and password to access the scholarship application and/or the scholarship directory for current year opportunities.
