We are thrilled to announce the 7th annual Chicano Art Festival for 2023 on October 7, 2023! This year promises to be our best yet, as we have
partnered with the phenomenal Latino organization, the Latinx Education Collaborative. Through this partnership, the Latino Arts Foundation has
been able to unleash a wave of creativity, empowering aspiring artists in our communities who had previously faced obstacles. The missions and visions of LEC and LAF align perfectly, making art and education the perfect avenues to support our communities. The 2023 Chicano Art Festival will showcase the incredible work of over 80+ Latino/a/e Chicano/a/e Entrepreneurs, with whom we have worked closely as partners for the past two years through pop-ups, community events, entrepreneurial education, and the first-ever Latino/a/e Chicano/a/e Entrepreneurial Fuerza Week in October. The festival will celebrate the strength, vibrancy, and beauty of Chicano culture while honoring the wider Latino culture. Attendees can look forward to folkloric dancers, a Chicano DJ spinning 90s throwbacks and oldies but goodies, breakdancers, inspiring art, talented artists, makers, and, of course, the Lowrider Community hosted by Royals KC Car Club. The Lowrider community will showcase over 100+ custom-built cars from all over the United States. For any inquiries or further details, please contact Deanna Munoz at deanna@latinxedco.org.
