Prepare yourself to embark on a great adventure: creating the 2026 Blach Falcon yearbook, The Eyas, Volume 11 with a talented, creative, supportive, hardworking staff. With Mrs. Hickman as your biggest cheerleader, supporting you at every step through the process, you will be challenged and perhaps work harder than you ever have before. But the reward- your work being published for the entire Blach community to keep with them forever- will be so rewarding!
Introducing The Eyas, volume 10: Through Our Eyes
Our 2025 7th grade yearbook staff unveil volume 10, Through Our Eyes. A big shout-out to Millie, Noelle, Ava, Arianna, and Ella.
8th grade senior yearbook staff proudly pose with their 7th and 8th grade yearbooks: 2024: It All Starts Here and 2025: Through Our Eyes. Thank you to Nicole, Sienna, Brooke, Ada, and Alyse for your energy and talents in creating these two, beautiful yearbooks!
2023: The Eyas, volume 8: Where'd All the Time Go... starting to fly! Last year's yearbook staff proudly unpacks boxes of our hot-off-the-press yearbooks. This year theme was about the passage of time, and how, in just two short years, a student's time at Blach really does fly by.
2022: The Eyas, volume 7: It's New For Me, Too This year's yearbook staff wanted a theme that showed Blach emerging from the pandemic. We wanted to capture idea that we were all feeling the "newness" of this year together.
2021: The Eyas, volume 6: Long Story Long Here's why the 2021 yearbook staff is unique:
Due to the pandemic, yearbook was not run as an elective class like usual; it was an after-school club instead.
They were the smallest group yet: just 16 students, all 8th graders.
They produced the yearbook 100% remotely! That is, we never once met in-person.
2020 Yearbook Staff
The Arrival of The Eyas, volume 5: Do You Remember? This yearbook staff will always have a special place in my heart because while most of our work was done under typical circumstances, production of yearbook was halted when the announcement came on March 13, 2020 that school was going virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With our final deadline fast approaching, the yearbook staff pulled together and completed the yearbook remotely. I was so impressed with their ability to pivot and produce an exceptional yearbook.
Congratulations! Yearbook Staff members Remi , Kelly, and Amber display their own personal spreads that they are most proud of from You Had to Be There. These ladies were each presented the Yearbook Elective Award by Mrs. Hickman to honor their outstanding contributions to our 2019 yearbook.
Distribution Day! For the yearbook staff, the most exciting moment comes on distribution day, when our yearbooks arrive and we unpack them, breathe in that "new book" aroma, and spend some time together celebrating our published book before the rest of the school gets a peek. Sevies Negev, Jake, Alex, Dylan, and Ko admire their work. 8th graders Catrina, Alayna, and Carly take a break from counting out yearbooks into piles for distribution.
