About Ms. Bena.

My name is Alicia Bena, and I am a Bay Area native. I originally moved to the San Diego area to attend UC San Diego, earning both a Bachelor of Mathematics as well as a Master of Education. After graduating, I taught math at a high school for four years before becoming a middle school teacher at Egan. When not teaching, you will most likely find me at a movie theater or attending any type of musical production; I also love the beach, sushi, and all things Disney. I am truly passionate about math and believe that ALL students are mathematicians.
