About Me

In case you were wondering....

I grew up in Albuquerque, NM and attended The University of New Mexico (UNM) for my undergraduate degree in Music Education. After teaching elementary, middle, and high school General Music and Choir in Albuquerque Public Schools for 6 years, we moved to Los Alamos and I stayed home to raise our 4 children. They have all attended Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS), and the youngest graduated Los Alamos High School in 2022. I now have 4 grandchildren! 

I have been the music teacher at Barranca Mesa Elementary since SY 2013-14, and I was a substitute in the District for 5 years prior. I earned my Master of Music Education through UNM Online in May of 2022.

I look forward to many more years at Barranca Mesa, making music with my students!
