Pueblo of Santa Clara Visit
The Pueblo of Santa Clara visited students at Aspen Elementary. The Deputy Director of the Department of Youth & Learning, Nicole Swentzell, the Pueblo of Santa Clara's Lt. Governor, Mr. Jesse Gutierrez and Outreach Coordinator, Shannon Ortiz visited students at Aspen Elementary, Monday, February 23, 2026. Students recieved NIKE bags.

UNM Native American Senior Day - Albuquerque
LAHS Seniors attended UNM Native American Senior Day in Albuquerque. James Gurule, River Sheppard, Graeme Martinez, Hannah Waldschmidt, Hailey Duran and Alessandra Valencia.
2025 Lightning Boy Hoop Dancers
The Lightning Boy Hoop Dancers performed twice throughout the month of November. The first time, 9th and 10th grade students were in attendance and the second visit was attended by 11th and 12th grade students. Hoop dancers: ShanDien Sonwai LaRance, Josiah Enriquez, Mitchell Gray and Francesca Maestas. Steve LaRance, Founder of Lightning Boy Hoop Dancers and Randy Brokeshoulder.
