Why Are Certain Shoe Brands More Popular Than Others?

Some shoe brands are popular and some are not. We have recently surveyed some seventh graders for their opinions on some brands. Here are the results of Under Armour.

Question: Why is Under Armour so popular?

Hezekiah- ¨Cause that's all I wear bro!¨

Nathan- ¨Cause it´s sick.¨

Jonah- ¨Because it looks nice and it is sick.¨

Sean- ¨I don´t like.¨

Daniel (custodian)- ¨Keeps you cool!¨

Augustine- ¨It fits good and feels very good.¨

Carlos- ¨It fits well and is cheap.¨

Harrison- ¨It fits well and it makes me feel good inside.¨

Ms.Enriquez- ¨I like the material of it.¨

Officer Stevens- ¨It´s cool to wear under my stuff.¨

I think that Under Armour Is popular but with a little bit of dislike from the comments we got but that doesn´t stay the same for all shoe brands. Let´s move on to Nike.

Question: Why is Nike so Popular?

Carter- ¨They are comfortable and nice.¨

Eric-¨I like Nike because it looks cool.¨

Abraham- ¨It's comfy, they make lots of varieties.¨

Daniel (custodian)- ¨I can run fast.¨

Zack- ¨It's performance is comfy.¨

Nathan- ¨Cause it´s sick.¨

Johnathon- ¨It's a good brand.¨

Well, it appears that Nike is very popular because it is hard to find something to dislike about it. Now, for our results on Jordan.

Question: Why is Jordan Popular?

Jonah- ¨It looks nice.¨

Nate- ¨Cause it´s sick.¨

Daniel (custodian)- ¨Style.¨

Landon- ¨I don't.¨

Abraham- ¨He is the best basketball player.¨

Jakob- ¨He is a baller.”

Tyler- ¨They're comfortable and nice and he is the G.O.A.T¨

Marcos- “I don't wear no Jordans.¨

It looks like Jordans got a similar reaction like Under Armour did. Since we asked people why they like those shoe brands, we also asked what shoe brands they don't like, and here are the results.

Question: What shoe brands don't you like?

Janah - ¨Skechers, Puma, that's it.¨

Diego- ¨Sketchers and Puma.¨

Carlos- ¨Skechers, they’re ugly.¨

Orlando ¨I don't like Adidas.¨

Daniel (custodian)- ¨ Skechers, they’re not comfortable.¨

Landon- ¨Skechers, Converse.¨

Harrison- “Skechers, Puma, New Balance, Asics.”

Jakob- “Vans, Levis, Skechers, Puma.”

Anthony- “Skechers, New Balance, Converse, Puma.”

I think that it’s safe to say that Skechers is probably the most disliked shoe brand. So I think our overall results are that Nike is the most liked shoe brand, and Skechers is the most disliked. Nike has a pretty good cost for the value and “it’s “comfy.” Skechers is just an unpopular brand because they are “ugly” and “uncomfortable”.
