Necessary Band Materials

Instruments

• Summer rentals can be attained through Mr. Meek or Mr. Iliff 

• Fall rentals will be handled through LAHS (in August)

• For excellent quality new and used instruments: Check Sweetwater 

• If you're looking into upgrading your instrument (beginner instruments are great for beginners but we tend to outgrow things we used when we were kids). Always consult with Mr Meek or your private teacher before you purchase an instrument - there is a LOT of junk out there and we don't want you wasting your money!

Books   

• All: Foundations for Superior Performance, Warm-Ups and Techniques for Band (this is the book students will use throughout Mid and High School Band)  

• Make sure to get the book specifically for your instrument
