Hello! I am excited to see my students, both new and returning, for the Aspen 2020-2021 school year. This is my 4th year providing SLP services at Aspen. I studied at the University of North Texas, obtaining both a B.A.A.S and a M.A. during my time there. As a graduate student I studied Speech Language Pathology. I currently hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology through ASHA (CCC-SLP). I also hold a NM state license to practice Speech Language Pathology and the NM educational level II Speech Language Pathologist license. Before coming to NM, I practiced in Texas as a home health pediatric SLP in the medical setting. I have been a SLP for almost 14 years. I love working to strengthen my student's communication skills and I celebrate every step my students make on their way to increased functional and academic communication! This year, my time will be split between servicing Aspen students and completing SLP evaluations at the Student Services building.
