I have a BA in Evolutionary Anthropology, a Masters in Education, and a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) endorsement. I'm also a certified Montessori Educator.
This is my 5th year teaching at Aspen and my 8th year teaching overall.
I love teaching 6th graders how to think empathetically. We accomplish this through learning about Social Justice.
I teach math and English Language Arts to my homeroom students. I teach Social Studies to all 6th graders!
