IC Meloni includes about seven hundred pupils, distributed in kindergarten, primary and lower secondary schools located in three municipalities. 

Our school works to develop all the key European competences in a differentiated way and calibrated on the specific age characteristics of the students. Most students achieve adequate social and civic skills and particular attention is paid to the development of multilingual skills, both through the activation of paths to enhance the learning of the English language, and within specific projects. 

The area where our school is located has a high unemployment rate because in recent years we have been hit by the economic depression, exacerbated by the recent pandemic. For this reason, our school has started collaborations and partnerships with all local authorities, to start projects to combat social exclusion and school dropout.
