El congreso de Assedil 2017, que este año se celebra en Tenerife, ha abierto sus puertas en el colegio La Salle San Ildefonso. Los encargados de inaugurarlo han sido el Hno. visitador del Distrito Arlep, Jesús Miguel Zamora; el vicepresidente de Assedil, Didier Piens y dos hermanos consejeros del instituto, Aidan Kilty y Gustavo Ramírez.
Todos ellos han estado acompañados por el coro del colegio La Salle San Ildefonso.
Tras el acto de inicio, ha llegado el momento de la ponencia de la hermana Montserrat del Pozo, superiora general de las Misioneras de Nazaret.
Del Pozo, muy comprometida con la apuesta de un nuevo paradigma de pedagogía, ha conseguido captar la atención de todos los participantes del congreso.
Entre su filosofía destacan argumentos como la creatividad, el uso de "una tecnología domesticada" y el trabajo en el aula de ambos hemisferios cerebrales. Parte de su paradigma nace de la sociedad en la que vivimos que la denomina "vuca", en la que la volatilidad, la incertidumbre, la complejidad y la ambigüedad paralizan a los docentes. Ante esto propone visión, entendimiento, claridad y agilidad.
La Asamblea de Assedil ha sido el último momento de la jornada que ha servido para dar a conocer el trabajo y los retos que están por venir.

The ASSEDIL Congress 2017, which this year is taking place in Tenerife, has opened its doors in La Salle San Ildefonso College. Those in charge of inaugurating it have been the Brother Visitor of the Arlep District, Jesus Miguel Zamora; the Vice-President of ASSEDIL , Didier Piens and two Brothers Councilors of the Institute, Aidan Kilty and Gustavo Ramirez. All were accompanied by the choir of Lasalle San Ildefonso College.
After the act of opening came the moment for the presentation by Sister Montserrat del Pozo, Superior General of the Missionaries of Nazareth.
Del Pozo, very committed to the challenge of a new paradigm of pedagogy, succeeded in capturing the attention of all the participants in the Congress.
What stand out from her philosophy are arguments such as creativity, the use of " a domesticated technology" and work in the classroom with both cerebral hemispheres. Part of her paradigm is born from the society in which we live, which she calls "VUCA", in which teachers are paralyzen by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. Against this she proposes vision, understanding, clarity and agility.
The Assedil Assembly was the last item on a day which served to let us know the work and the challenges which lie ahead.
Le congrès de l’ASSEDIL (Association Européenne des Directeurs des Institutions Lasalliennes) 2017, se tient à Tenerife (Canaries) du 26 au 29 avril au sein du collège La Salle San Ildefonso. Ce rassemblement de chefs d’établissement venus de toute l’europe est organisé par le Frère Visiteur du district Jesus Miguel Zamora, le vice Président de l’ASSEDIL Didier Piens et les deux Frères conseillers de l’institut Aïdan Kilty et Gustavo Ramirez.
Après la cérémonie d’inauguration proposée par le chœur du collège, l’assemblée a pris place dans l’amphithéâtre pour assister à une conférence proposée par la Sœur Montserra del Pozo (Supérieur Générale des missionnaires de Nazareth). Fortement engagée dans l’éducation et notamment dans la recherche d’un nouveau paradigme pédagogique sur l’usage de technologies domestiqués, Soeur Montserra Del Pozo a sensibilisé son auditoire sur ce qui paralyse les maîtres aujourd’hui et qu’elle a nommé de l’acronyme VICA (volatilité, incertitude, complexité et ambiguïté) face à cela elle propose une vision d’entente de clarté et de créativité. L’assemblée statutaire de l’ASSEDIL a été le dernier temps de la journée qui a permis de faire connaître le travail en cours et les défis à venir.

El congreso de Assedil continúa su segunda jornada con dos ponencias y visitas de lugares emblemáticos de la isla.
Los participantes han podido conocer, en primer lugar, el futuro y rumbo que lleva la pedagogía lasaliana de la mano de la charla dada por el Hno. Gustavo Ramírez, consejero del Instituto.
La segunda ponencia del día ha tratado sobre la investigación lasaliana que se desarrolla desde Roma. Los directivos han tenido la oportunidad de conocer, gracias al Hno. Diego Muñoz, el trabajo que se realiza desde la Casa Generalicia en este aspecto.
Tras la comida, ha llegado el momento de conocer la isla de Tenerife. El primer lugar escogido ha sido el parque nacional del Teide. A continuación, la visita se ha dirigido a una conocida bodega de La Orotava donde se ha realizado una breve introducción en la fabricación del vino y después los participantes han podido degustarlo.
Con esto se llega al ecuador del congreso donde mañana los directivos continuarán con su formación y conocimiento de la zona.

The ASSEDIL Congress continued into its second day with 2 presentations and visits to the emblematic places of the island.
First of all the participants were able to get to know the future and the direction of Lasallian pedagogy from the talk given by Br.Gustavo Ramirez, one of the Institute Councilors.
The second talk of the day dealt with the Lasallian research which is being carried out from Rome. The Directors present had the opportunity, thanks to Br.Diego Muñoz, to get to know about the work being done on this topic in the Mother House in Rome.
After lunch came the time to get to know the Island of Tenerife. The first place chosen was the National Park of Teide. After this we continued to a well known vineyard of La Orotava where we were given a brief introduction to the making of wine and after this the participants were able to sample some of the products.
With this we reached the middle of the Congress from where tomorrow the Directors will continue with their formation and getting to know the zone.
El tercer día del congreso se ha abierto con el primer evento de la mañana. El encargado ha sido el Hno. Miquel Àngel Barrabeig, miembro del equipo de la Relem, que ha explicado los aspectos relativos a la I AMEL de la Relem. Los congresistas han realizado, en esta misma ponencia, trabajo en grupos para aportar visiones e ideas al respecto.
Tras esto, el tiempo ha estado dedicado a los centros que se encuentran en la isla de Tenerife. En primer lugar, al de San Ildefonso. Los participantes del congreso han podido conocer de primera mano los programas y metodologías que se imparten en el centro tinerfeño a través de sus diferentes aulas.
Por la tarde, y tras unas horas de descanso, La Laguna ha recibido a los lasalianos de la Relem. Tras una experiencia de conocimiento de la localidad han compartido una misa en la Catedral presidida por el obispo de Tenerife.
Finalmente, una cena de gala en el colegio La Salle La Laguna ha puesto el toque final a este día intenso.

The third day of the Congress opened with the first event of the morning. The person in charge was Br. Miquel Àngel Barrabeig, a member of the RELEM team, who explained aspects relative to RELEM's up and coming AIMEL meeting. During the presentation the Congress members worked in groups to produce visions and ideas for this coming meeting.
After this, the time was given over to the Centres which are to be found on the Island of Tenerife. First it was San Ildefonso. The Congress participants were able to get to know first hand, the programs and methodologies being imparted in the different classes of the Centre.
In the afternoon, after some hours of rest, La Laguna received the RELEM Lasallians. After a walking tour to get to know the locality they participated in a Mass in the Cathedral presided over by the Bishop of Tenerife.
Finally, a gala dinner in La Salle College La Laguna was the final touch on this intense day.
Assedil 2017 cierra sus puertas tras cuatro días intensos de compartir y de aprendizaje. Hoy ha sido la ocasión para hacer balance de todo el congreso y de sacar conclusiones del mismo. Por ello, los Distritos participantes se han reunido para realizar el análisis.
Además, este momento de encuentro se ha aprovechado para extraer ideas relacionadas con la AMEL.
El punto final ha venido de la mano del Hno.Aidan Kilty, consejero general de la Relem, que ha realizado un repaso de la Relem y de aquellos puntos a desarrollar próximamente.
El Hno. Néstor Anaya, secretario del Instituto para la Asociación y la Misión Educativa Lasaliana y Didier Piens, presidente de Assedil, ha concluido dando las gracias a todos por la entrega y la participación durante estas cuatro jornadas.

ASSEDIL 2017 closes its doors after 4 intense days of sharing and learning.
Today was the occasion for weighing up the whole Congress and drawing conclusions from it. For this purpose,the participating Districts met to carry out this analysis.
Furthermore, use was made of these meetings to extract ideas relating to AMEL.
The final contribution came from Br.Aidan Kilty, General Councilor for RELEM, who gave us a survey of RELEM and of the plans that will soon be developed.
Br.Nestor Anaya, the Institute Secretary for Association and for the Lasallian Education Mission and Mr. Didier Piens, President of ASSEDIL, then concluded matters by thanking everyone for their work and participation during these four days.
