This book is about a girl who is a war refugee. When she went to school all she could say was 'War took everything, war took everyone. Everyone ran through cold mud and rainwater'. It is a sad book but also an important one about kindness and friendship.
I have read lots of books from the sustainability library and they have all been good books and I have learnt different things from different books. For example, some books are to do wth keeping the Earth clean or about recycling.
