On Friday 7th January, Lark Rise had a book swap and it turned out to be AMAZING! We included everyone in the book swap, including Ducks and Ducklings. Best of all you didn't even have to pay and even if you didn't hand in any books you could still get one or a few. So it was very good use. Thank you for all the lovely books that you sent in and I hope everyone has enjoyed reading and sharing the stories that they took home. If you still have spare books, you could give some to charity because it helps people who cannot get to a library or a bookshop to have different books to read and the more people read, the better!
Mrs Smith and the Reading Ambassadors are and looking in to do doing some more book swaps and some other exciting jobs. I think that everyone at the book swap thought it was a lovely idea and I feel that the day was very successful!

The Tents
The tents were worried it was going to rain.
The tents were tense.
We said,
"Relax tents, relax."
But these tents were tense
They were so intense.
Perhaps
the tents were worried about us.
Would we get wet?
After all,
we were in tents.
