Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been a wonderful fortnight of learning across the school. I have had the pleasure of observing incredible teaching and learning across the school. There has been a calm and productive working environment throughout and it has been a joy to see the wonderful relationships between staff and children and the opportunities available for children to thrive and be challenged within the classroom. We have many highly experienced and skilled practitioners that are supporting the development of teaching and learning across schools which is providing them with excellent professional development and ensuring they can continue to develop within their role at Lark Rise.
There continues to be lots of fantastic opportunities which bring the learning to life for the children with more experiences planned before we break for half term.
PSHE workshops for children in Years 3 - 6 focusing on peer pressure, healthy bodies, compromising with others
Local area walk for Reception children to look at the housing in our local area
Bikeability for children in Year 4 and 5
You can find out more about events such as these by following our social media channels, Facebook and X (formally Twitter) and in the photos below.
Finally, Mrs Hartley informed me that the children in Eagles Class showcased their learning beautifully today in our first parents and carers assembly of the year- well done everyone!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend with your families and look forward to seeing you next week.
Mrs Romina Lang
Headteacher
