I’m Lynda M. Martinez, and I am honored to serve as the Head Counselor at Memorial Middle School. This year, I am working directly with:

• All 6th Grade Students

• 7th Grade Students (A–L)

My priority is supporting the whole child—academically, emotionally, and socially—so every student feels empowered to succeed. Beyond guiding our department, I work closely with students through individual counseling, small group sessions, and classroom lessons. I also collaborate daily with our teachers, staff, and parents to foster a positive, healthy environment for our campus.

Welcome! My name is Ana Castañeda, and I am the Communities In Schools (CIS) Site Coordinator. My goal is to help students succeed by providing support, resources, and encouragement throughout the school year. CIS partners with students, families, and school staff to promote attendance, academic achievement, and student well-being. I look forward to working together to help every student reach their full potential. 

Hello, eagles. My name is Elizabeth Gonzalez Hernandez. I am a License Professional Counselor Associate and a License chemical Dependency Counselor. It is an honor to work with the Memorial Middle School students, teachers, staff, administration, and legal guardians. It is a pleasure for me to be able to help the community in any way possible. A little about me, I work with the SCAN-LISD AWARE program to provide mental health intervention counseling services to the students. At SCAN our mission is "Creating Stronger Communities by Empowering People". If you ever need assistance please don’t hesitate to reach out, I will be glad to help you. Remember, you are not alone and there is help available. I can be found on campus on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and alternating Fridays.

Es un honor trabajar con los estudiantes, maestros, personal, administración y tutores legales de la Escuela secundaria Memorial. Es un placer para mí poder ayudar a la comunidad en todo lo que sea posible. Un poco sobre mí, trabajo con el programa SCAN-LISD AWARE para brindar servicios de asesoramiento de intervención de salud mental a los estudiantes.
