Hello students and parents:

It is with great pleasure that  I will serve as your school counselor for the school year 2026-2027.  My name is Mr. Maldonado and I have been at Macdonell Elementary for 21 years.  I look forward to working together with teachers, administrators, and specially parents to meet the academic and social emotional needs of our students. 

Throughout the year, I will provide guidance counseling lessons, individual and group counseling sessions, along with parent and student presentations.  My goal is for every student to development and improve their social emotional well-being.  Every student deserves to come to a learning and nurturing classroom and I will do my best to help all children feel safe and excel in your academics.
