Brainstorm for Topics

Use the resources listed below to begin exploring and focusing your topic. As you get ideas, write them on the Topic Brainstorming Organizer.


These tools will help you focus on your topic but later when you’re looking for reliable information for your paper, you will have to switch to authoritative sources as the ones listed at the bottom of this page and other school databases.

As you explore your topic, also explore new tools and search strategies. Refer to your Google search strategies handout in the Handouts box on the left of this pathfinder.
