Dear Students, Parents, and Faculty & Staff,
May is here, and the end of another school year is just around the corner. As we prepare for our end of the year ceremonies and activities, take the time to reflect with your children about the growth they have undergone this school year. Celebrate their accomplishments and offer guidance and support in their areas of need. Laredo ISD always has plenty of enrichment programs available to our students during the summer to help our students transition from one grade level to the next. Ask your child's teacher what programs will be available this summer, and sign your child up for a month of fun and learning.

Estimados estudiantes, padres, profesores y personal,
Mayo ya está aquí y el final de otro año escolar está a la vuelta. Mientras nos preparamos para nuestras ceremonias y actividades de fin de año, tómese el tiempo para reflexionar con sus hijos sobre el crecimiento que han experimentado este año escolar. Celebre sus logros y ofrezca orientación y apoyo en sus áreas de necesidad. Laredo ISD siempre tiene muchos programas de enriquecimiento disponibles para nuestros estudiantes durante el verano para ayudarlos en la transición de un nivel de grado al siguiente. Pregúntele al maestro de su hijo qué programas estarán disponibles este verano e inscriba a su hijo para un mes de diversión y aprendizaje.

Regular school attendance is a vital component to a child's academic success. Please ensure that your children attend school daily to help them get the most out of their education. Students with perfect attendance for the month will be in the drawing to be crowned May's Burger King King and Queen. The king and queen will win a Burger King Family Combo.
La asistencia regular a la escuela es un componente vital para el éxito académico de un niño. Asegúrese de que sus hijos asistan a la escuela todos los días para ayudarlos a aprovechar al máximo su educación. Los estudiantes con asistencia perfecta durante el mes participarán en el sorteo para ser coronados como el Rey y la Reina de Burger King de mayo. El rey y la reina ganarán un combo familiar de Burger King.
