My name is Diana Parra and I am the site coordinator of Communities In Schools (CIS) at Cigarroa High School.  I am extremely excited to start working together this school year 2023-2024.  It will be a challenging year but together we will do it.

The mission of Communities In Schools of Laredo is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

To provide effective assistance to students at risk, CIS of Laredo must follow the recruitment process. It is important to mention that anybody from the campus can refer a student to CIS such as;

Administration staff, Coaches, Teacher aids, Teachers, and Nurses
