30 HR GT Training
*If you already have the 30 HR GT certificate and service GT students please skip over to the 6 HR GT update!
The state of Texas requires all teachers who service identified GT students to receive an initial 30 HR GT training certificate. Please let your administration know if you do not have a certificate and need the 5-day training.
This year our 30 HR GT training will be conducted through online TAGT on Demand courses. Be on the lookout for more information!
It is highly recommended that teachers keep a copy of their certificate readily available. As long as you teach in Texas you will need this certificate!

All teachers who service an identified GT student must take a 6 HR GT update annually. Courses may be done through the TAGT on Demand web-based platform. Teachers can pick topics that interest them and choose 1, 3, or 6 HR sessions to complete the required 6 HRS. Remember to turn in your certificate to your administration upon completion. These seats are for teachers servicing GT students and are on a first come first serve basis, so sign up as soon as possible! Use the flyer on the right to access the code.
If you created an account last year you will use the same login information (if you forgot it, just type in forgot password).

High school GT students are serviced through our Honors and AP courses. Remember to keep a log of when your students were serviced! Below you will find the TPSP website link that provides all the necessary information and resources to be successful with the projects. Please call me if you need more support or have any questions. Remember, students are the learners, teachers are the guides! Let their minds explore and you may be amazed at their inventions and creations. Below you have access to the TPSP website!
