We have lots of events planned to welcome you to Larbert High. By the time August comes we are sure you will be excited and ready to become an S1 pupil!

Transition Visits: November 2021– June 2022

Throughout the next few months, you will have the chance to meet some of the key staff they will work with at Larbert High School through a series of transition visits to the primary schools. We are hopeful, that - restrictions allowing – we will also be able to begin some transition visits to Larbert High School in the New Year.

P7 Virtual Open Evening:Thursday 4 November 2021

The virtual evening, held via Google Meet, will begin with a welcome from the Head Teacher. You will then enter a virtual classroom where you will be visited by teachers from across the school who will lead activities which will give you an insight into our S1 courses and experiences. A guide to the evening which will detail how to log on will be sent out a few weeks before the event.

LHS Academy Virtual Information Evening:Thursday 3 February 2022

What was our ‘Schools of…’ programme has been updated to Academies designed to create an enhanced experience in one curricular area, through links with industry partners, Higher and Further Education Pathways. We will share an outline of the programme and you will have the chance to hear about the range of Academies on offer from across the school.

P7 Class Visits: February - April 2022 (please see date noted on letter issued by your Primary School)

We can't wait to welcome each of our P7 classes and their teacher to spend a day with us at Larbert High. You will have the chance to see the Pupil Support Teacher who visited your class before Christmas and will take part in activities with them which will help you learn more about the school. You will then meet teachers from our English and Humanities faculties and will begin a piece of work which you will then continue in your P7 class. Remember to bring your iPad with you!

P7 Induction Days: Friday 13 and Monday 16 May 2022

We remain hopeful that we will be able to run our induction days as we have in past years. The first of the two-day visit will give you an introduction to the vast number of extra-curricular clubs, both sporting and non-sporting, available at Larbert High. On the second day, you will follow a typical S1 timetable for the day. If restrictions which prevent this happening are in place, the induction days will be delivered virtually.
