Transition Events

We have lots of events planned to welcome you to Larbert High.  By the time August comes we are sure you will be excited and ready to become an S1 pupil!

P7 Open Evening: Tues 28 October 2025

• 6pm Airth, Kinnaird and Larbert Village Primary

• 7pm  Carron, Carronshore, Ladeside, Stenhousemuir and St Bernadette’s 

The evening begins with a welcome from the Rector. You will then have a chance to go on a guided tour of the school and visit classes where you will learn about our S1 courses and experiences. 

Transition Visits: November 2025– June 2026

Throughout the next few months, you will have the chance to meet some of the key staff they will work with at Larbert High School through a series of transition visits to the primary schools.  

P7 Class Visits: January - April 2026 (please see date noted on letter issued by your Primary School later in the session)

In the New Year, we will invite P7 Pupils to spend a day with us at Larbert High.  They will have the opportunity to visit different faculties across the school and meet a number of our teachers.  They will attend this visit with their P7 class and teacher.  

Academies Launch: February 2026

Our Academies Programme is going from strength to strength with an impressive ten opportunities including Football, Sport, Dance, Media, STEM, Hospitality, Rock & Pop, Earth Sciences, Piping & Drumming and Languages. Pupils will be invited to LHS to take part in taster events on the afternoon of 4 or 11 Feb (date for each school TBC) and parents will have the opportunity to hear more about the programme during our information session on the evening of 18 Feb.

P7 Induction Days: Dates TBC

Our P7 Induction days give our P7 pupils the chance to experience what life is like as a High School pupil.  

They will take part in team building activities with pupils from across the cluster and will have the chance to experience a number of classes in different faculties.
