Brush up on your knowledge of all things LHS
A number of our young people at Larbert High have Additional Support Needs ranging from visual or hearing impairments, dyslexia, ASD and anxiety to name a few.
For many of these pupils, support and differentiation offered by the class teacher is all that is required to ensure they reach their potential in school, but some require more bespoke support.
These young peple will all be identified by the Primary Schools during our transition process and will be part of our enhanced transition programme.
We know that, for parents, concern around what support are available and what they will look like can make the move to High School a worrying time. We are really keen to reassure you that we are confident in our ability to meet the needs of our young people and would be delighted to invite you into school to see what supports we are able to offer.
