Vedic Art is a process-oriented art method for developing creativity and awareness. In the basic course, you get to know the 17 principles of Vedic Art experientially, by drawing and painting.
In the various exercises, making a picture progresses on its own without the teacher's analyses, assessments or stress. With the help of the method, everyone can find an artist in themselves, because it guides them to get the necessary information about themselves with the help of intuition. In the freedom to do, self-confidence and the ability to enjoy grow.
Participating in the basic course does not require previous art training or experience in making a picture.

Lapua Art School is founded in 2000 and offers education in arts, crafts, dance and theatre for children and adults. Through the studies participants are enabled to understand arts in their national and multicultural context and to express themselves through art.
The school also offers a basic education in arts and crafts for children and young people following the curriculums for the respective art form of the Finnish National Board of Education. This basic education enables participants upon completion to apply for higher or vocational education in the respective art form.

The Cultural and Business Centre Vanha Paukku is a unique area located in downtown Lapua, on the beautiful banks of the Lapua River. Vanha Paukku was established on the historical site of the old factory buildings of the Lapua Cartridge Factory. Vanha Paukku houses several museums and services, including the Lapua Art Museum, Lapua City Cultural History Museums, the Gallery of the Ostrobothnian Photo Center, and the City Library.
